Rome Transfers

We always use Romecabs.com.  Stefano and his staff are always great. Nice, clean cars, great drivers, always on time and helpful. Last time we disembarked in Rome it was raining, our driver met us with a handful of umbrellas for the walk to his car.  Little things matter.

Last October we stayed at the Hilton Rome Airport.  The concierge recommended Autolineroma, which has a desk in their lobby.  They responded quickly to my questions, and the price was E140 for the two of us and our luggage for a private transfer.  Since one of the popular shared shuttles is E69 per person, we were pleased with the price.  We were also pleased with the driver.

So the OP asks about Rome and gets info about FCO which is a long way from Rome.  If you want a private transfer from Rome you can use Romecabs.com which charges about 130 Euros.  Shared shuttles cost less but may involve delays as they pick up folks from other hotels and possibly drop at other piers.  You can also take the train from Rome, use the 2 Euro shuttle to the port shuttles and save over 100 Euros.  Private shuttles are convenient but expensive.  The choice is yours.

Your Rome hotel concierge can also arrange a private transfer.  Think of 130 as a guideline.

Am doing a cruise out of Rome in Oct 2020. Am looking for ideas on getting from Airport to Cruise port or hotel close to Cruise port depending what day we go. Any ideas on shuttles etc.

The OP asked for ideas for getting from the airport (i.e. FCO) to the cruise port or a hotel near the port - so not sure what point you are making here. At no point did they mention they would be staying in a hotel in Rome so your point about a Rome hotel concierge makes no sense.

OP we have always used romeshuttlelimousine.com for a private transfer and they usually come in around 10 euros cheaper than other companies. They also use very nice limousine-style cars.

We are using RomeCabs to go from Termini to civitavechia on February ,2020. The cost for 2 with luggage and a wheelchair is 130 euros paying cash to driver or ahead via paypal. We have used them before and are very happy with the service they offer.
