Brightline package Ft Lauderdale to Port Miami - return trip time

We are going to try the Brightline service to get to our MSC cruise. It's $80 for two of us (all in) and includes 4 checked bags. This is a great deal. A friend is going to take us to/from the station, so we have no worries, there.

 

We need to choose a train departure time. 9:00 is the default.  We should make this with no issue, but if there's a delay, can we take a later train?

How much is Uber/Lyft? I'm not sure it sounds like a deal to me.

Check and see if Brightline still offers a free ride to a first time customer. When you make your reservation, you will pick your seats. Again, I would check with Brightline about using your reservation on another train. Last month I reserved our free ride from West Palm.
