Excursions - how soon to book?

Hi,

 

My departure from Puerto Morelos is a month away. Still not able to book the excursions online. When can we book the excursions? Any problems encountered?

I had the same problem, so I called Ponant. I was told that there was no way to reserve an excursion online. She said to just call back with the excursions that we would like & the customer service rep can add it to your booking. I'm going to call today with our choices for our 1/23 Costa Rica/Panama Canal cruise.

Thanks. The call center opened at 9am. Gave them my selections. She said that they are confirmed. Best to change/cancel 7 days in advance. On board, cannot cancel under 48 hours.

When you pre-book excursions do you pay immediately?  or is it handled on board?  [I ask because that we want to use.]

My confirmation says 'Pay on Board". No mention of payment when I spoke to the call center.
