I was just looking at the thread on the Carnival page, the most amazing part is that it took 4 pages for someone to make a "glory hole" joke.

No one has made one here so far either.

I hate this. We have sailed on the Glory 3 times. Our last time this past November. I hope everyone is safe.

Somebody is getting fired 😳

Depends on the cause.  If those responsible followed all approved procedures and made reasonable decisions they probably won't face and significant reprimand and certainly not termination.  Revised training and procedures are the most likely outcome in that case.   If, for example, they chose to continue a docking maneuver when procedures indicated it should be aborted, they may have more to answer for.

I was supposed to be cheating on NCL on Sunday by boarding the glory. I'm so not happy right now.

They wanted you to feel at home so they quickly installed a Boardwalk-like area with Al Fresco dining.

i am always grossed out by how rusted out Carnivals ships all are.  who would sail on a ship that beat up looking?  looks like folks could have been hurt if that window area that hit the bow was a dining area or stateroom area.

It was the dining room area.

Every news report I see talks about the wind, granted maybe their was high wind. However in every video clip I see what I fail to see are any stern thrusters being used to move the ship away before or during the crash. I also noticed when the ship was passing the Oasis very very close you can see by the exhaust their doesn't seem to be any wind pushing the ship

Cruise critic news has not even reported this on their news page. Are they afraid of bad news. Do they only report the industry’s good news
