Nachi Cocom is the correct name.

If you do not want an all-inclusive beach club check out Paradise Beach.

Taxi to either place for 4passengers will cost about $15-17 each way: that fare is for the cab, not per person.

If they don't want a beach excursion, I can recommend the Mayan Ball Game excursion.  It was about 4 hours and takes you to a remote area where they have demos of how Mayans made food, chocolate, etc, a Mayan priestess did a formal blessing ceremony for us, and then a full Mayan ball game with music, etc.  After that you have a buffet lunch with Mexican dancers performing.  Not long walking involved and shade, but it is all outdoors.  We enjoyed it.

Also check out Cozumel Bar Hop for a fun, well organized tour round the island. Note this is not a “party “ bus per se and usually has many “older” participants but is generally a pleasant, social excursion.

Of course all bets are off for Spring Break!

Forgot about that one!  Yes, we did the BarHop last year....  here's my video:

FYI -  this stairway up to Coconuts is the ONLY hill on the entire island, it really isn't that bad.  And all the these bars are what I would call "dive bars" in that they are not fancy, very very rustic, and have a little raunchy atmosphere.  Don't ask to see the photo album at Coconuts, it has photos of ... welll, its kinda like New Orleans at Mardi Gras..

This is exactly why I do my videos... so people can see the excursions and decide if that is what they want or not.

Cruising in May 2020. Looking for excursions for mid 60's to early 70's, overweight and out of shape friends to enjoy. First time for all of us so looking for fun and adventure on shore.

If your cruise even happened, what excursion did you wind up booking?
