Weight loss journal

Does anyone keep a weight loss journal? What do you keep in it? How does it help you?

 

I have a Fitbit that keeps track of my weight, and occasionally I'll track some measurements which are on a piece of paper with the tape measure in a drawer in the bathroom. I've been thinking it might be helpful to have something a little more formal, but I'm not sure what that would look like. Thoughts?

I use the app MyFitnessPal! It integrates with MapMyRun where I can log my workouts. However, a new feature of MFP is "Workout Routines" where you can log your movements. I haven't tried it yet. A few of us are on MFP and have linked up. If you choose I am JennyB_1977.
