Star Legend Cabin 313

We were just upgraded to BS1 balcony cabin on the Star Legend. Has anyone been in this cabin and is it a quiet cabin?

We saw one review from the UK which states that it is near a noisy service area. Has this been your experience?

It looks like this room is across from elevator and next to the room attendants quarters which may explain why it could be “noisier”.  That being said, we were in 306 and were in the same area and did not find the area to be noisy. Attendants are really doing heir things in the morning starting at around 8 when you go out to breakfast and then in the evening when you are out to dinner, outside of these hours they are pretty quiet and would not expect noise from the area at night when sleeping

We are doing a TA as well as a Caribbean cruise on the Legend; we will be sailing for 22 days, from San Juan to Lisbon, Portugal.

We enjoy sea days very much. I hope that there will be some activity during the day, but am not counting on it. They do have a library, and that will be fine.

LewiLewi: There are things to do, if you want. There are lots of different dining options; dinner with officers, a galley buffet, an international buffet with food from crew's homes. But there are lots of long relaxing days. There is more motion on deck 6 than 4, so if you are concerned about seasickness...

We have been in several cabins on that deck, all lovely and all quiet. As for motion, you are really midship and should not be bothered by motion unless seas are unusually rough. We love being rocked to sleep. The library is not extensive so you might want to load up your kindle. Enjoy and welcome to Windstar.  We've enjoyed each and every cruise.

We got a  reduced upgrade  on the Pride from New York to Puerto Rico to cabin 315. Loved the french balcony. Had no noise problems. LOVED the cruise ( food, service, etc.) but prefer the sails. Going to be on the Surf next month for the third time,

Which sailing will you be on next month? We're on board from Jan 18 to Feb 18.

I like both kinds of ship. Love the big cabins with a couch & big windows on the Stars, but love the decks & ambience on the sail ships.
