Family Cruise! RCL Rhapsody of the Seas vs Carnival Paradise

Hi All,

 

Looking to take our first cruise with kids(been many times with just my husband). My kids are 3 and 6. 

Has anyone went on the Rhapsody of the Seas with young kids and have any feedback? 

How about the Carnival Paradise? <--- this one appears to be better for kids but the Rhapsody price is more intriguing...

hmmm, both are equally ancient... Paradise has slides, while Rhapsody has a rock climbing wall.

I'd explore newer ships...

We sailed on Grandeur of the Seas - same class as Rhapsody, when our son was three and five.  The ship did not have much, but it was great for him.  Between pool and kids club, he loved it.  And as he got older, we moved to the larger ships, which had more bells and whistles.

At 3 and 6, they aren't old enough for most of the newer ship's  "bells and whistles".  They will likely love the kid's club on either line...and they can have pool time with you, when they're not in the clubs.
