Starving teens on Fantasy - can you order multiple things?

The last time we were on a cruise the kids were just 5 and 8. They pretty much ate mac & cheese, pizza and fries the entire time.  Now they are 16 and 13 and eat EVERYTHING. And lots of it. And the more exotic, the better.

 

When dining in the MDRs, can you order an extra appetizer or salad? Just wondering what the rules are around this as they can eat a lot and will want to try a variety of foods.

You can order as many appetizer, entrees, desserts as you wish.  

 

I would hope they would finish (or make a good attempt) at any one dish before starting on another.  Otherwise, you wind up with a table that looks like this one where everyone was "finished" eating:

You can order whatever you want.  We often order two apps each and share an entree.  To avoid too much food, I’d suggest considering sharing multiple apps, which tend to be more interesting than the entrees and an entree so they can try things but not get full and have entrees that go uneaten.  The servers are happy to get more food if needed but it may take awhile if everyone already has their food.

You can order as much or as little as you want! The food on Disney is absolutely amazing. I’ve never gone hungry on any of the ships!
