Can we stack discounts?

My (possibly future) TA tell's me that I cannot stack the Diamond 5% + a state government or Faculty (I work for a State University) discounts to get 10%. I thought I read that this was easily done? Which is it?  How about with the 5%+15%?

I just paid my final payment yesterday I was told that its either or not both so I took the 10 percent

I could not stack the Diamond (formerly Black) status discount (5%) with my military discount (10%) last year, but I could stack my Diamond discount with our offered 30% Casino discount for this year's cruise.

You can not stack a Voyager Club discount with a civil service discount.

I was unable to stack on 3 MSC bookings.

You do not get the 5% discount because of the level you are at, you get it for being a member of the Voyagers Club.

However, while you cannot stack the internal MSC discounts, you CAN stack them with outside discounts and perks provided by your TA.

I did get 5% voyager discount and the 10% they gave away when Grandiosa was announced stacked. Used it for this year's easter cruise on Meraviglia.
