I have 2 cruises booked out of Southampton both on the Grand.  The cruises are sold as two separate 7 day cruises.  I have 2 booking numbers.

I know I can not book until Sept.  I have 3 bookings to look after and want to be prepared with the information.

1) August 7-14, 2021 Norwegian Fjords

    EzAir opens Sept 18, 2020

2) August 14-21, 2021 Scanadinvia

     EzAir opens Sept 25, 2020

I always booked Princess Flexible EzAir and watch the EzAir and airline price and take the cheapest.

I have called Princess and was told I would have to book two one way tickets.

1) book the Aug 7, 2021 going flight to London on Sept 18, 2020

2) book the August 14, 202 return flight from London Sept 25, 2020

I don't understand why I can not book the return flight on Sept 18 if the return date is available?

Has anybody that has 2 separate cruises have to book 2 one way tickets?

Aren't one way tickets more expensive that a return ticket?

  1. Have no idea why you are looking at this now.   You are 9 months away from booking.   ALL KINDS of things can change before you book - you are really totally wasting your time...

I don't think the agent told you correctly.  Flights are generally made available for booking by the airline 330 days, or 9 months, in advance.  That would mean that you cannot book a flight for 8/7/21 until around mid November of 2020, not Sept 18 of 2020.

330 days is 11 months out, which is the standard for the large carriers for opening bookings. 9 months is 270 days.
