Looks like they finally cleaned or replaced the windows overlooking the boardwalk from the old DL. They had gotten pretty bad before the refit!

Rule of thumb is, if his laptop lid is up, move along. He works around 5 hours a day.

This is Mac, Willard Mackenzie, fascinating gentleman.  We spent the entire afternoon hanging out. He is a very young 82, and a Marine.

As many times as we have been to Falmouth, I was unaware of those wonderful looking patties.  Can you tell me where the location is that sells them?

IME he does not appeciate any attention outside of the speaches he gives at the top tier events.  Many will disagree but not a friendly guy at all.

You can buy them right in the port.  Small little kiosk that sells them.  As you exit the main building in Falmouth, walk straight and they are located in the middle of the square.  Located more towards the left side between the 2 story buildings on the perimeter of the shopping port.

 

If you want to save about 50% and get them fresh from the oven, you can goto Tastees outside of the secured port area.  You would walk out of the exit of the port.  Across the street, through the alley and you will be in the town square.  Take the right street out of the town square and walk another block.  You will see Tastees Restaurant to your left at the intersection.  There would be a long line inside and maybe outside.  I have seen someone picking up dozens of boxes to their little stand in the secured port area.

Went to see Frozen in Time tonight. Wonderful as ever. I've probably seen it almost as much as CATS, almost.

 

We had a new sand artist number. Thumbelina,  very good. Try and catch it if you sail Oasis.

Pinnacle lunch had a german theme. Even had German beer.

 

It was just about the only alcohol I had all day.

3 glasses of wine, 3 beers, and then two more Heineken at the casino bar.

Went to family Karaoke after msking a deposit in the slots.

 

Royal seems to have gotten rid of Spin to Win coins. They now give us $6 free play on our account. You have to go to the cage to get it applied.

 

Quest is tonight, but I'm beat, so goodnight everyone

We are on Oasis next week and really enjoying your review - thanks for doing this! Our cabin will be a few doors down from yours so we are happy to read you are enjoying this location. Then I find out that Mario is on board - my sister & I met him last year on Adventure OTS at the Top Tier event. We did see him a few other times but didn’t bother him.  Thanks for bringing us along!

Not my experience but I also read the situation and don’t fawn over celebrities.  Not saying you did that but I’m sure some have.

I concur John.  I’ve run into him on a number of cruises now and he has always been friendly and seemed like just a regular cruiser.   
 

I suppose any regular cruiser can have a moment if someone does something like running up and sticking a camera in their face like a paparazzi.  Of course he is going to have moments where he is deep in thought about something important, just like the rest of us.
 

On Navigator during the B2B process more than a few were asking to take pictures with him.  I left him alone and kept to myself figuring he might want some privacy in the morning.  He ended coming over and initiating conversation.  Very friendly and easy to talk with like many frequent cruisers are.
