Taxis at Melbourne Pier

While I am sure there are plenty of taxis at the pier, can anyone comment on the availability of one capable of holding 6 adults and luggage.  We would be going to an hotel on Flinders Street.

Yes there will be vans available, I am unsure how many people and how much luggage the vans hold, you may find that you need to take two taxis, depending on how much luggage you have. You also may find that you have to wait for a van to come along.

Just got off at Station Pier today and remembered your post. They have a separate waiting area, with seating, for people who want larger taxis (maxi taxis). There are plenty of attendants who will guide you there. I took a photo for you 😊.
