Counting to 16...

A niggling question, just prior to our Jan. 23 to Feb. 8 cruise...  The voyage is sold by Azamara as "15 Nights Tahiti to Auckland."  When I count the number of nights onboard, however, I come up with 16.  We will cross the Int'l Dateline, if that is significant.

I'd like to know how many nights this voyage will be, as I ponder whether or not to purchase a Wifi pkg.  For comparison should I use 15 nights as advertised, or 16 nights as (potentially) experienced?  Petty perhaps, but I am seriously curious.

Thanks for any and all input,

Teri

An interesting question!

I guess that crossing the dateline is the clue here. I think that you’ll actually experience 15 nights, but 16 dates, because of the dateline. As the cruise is advertised as 15 nights,  I would expect the wifi package to be the daily rate times 15.

That’s it.  At some point you’ll turn the clock 24 hours forward and that’s your missing night.
