twins_to_alaska Posted January 14, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2020 (edited) Decisions decisions. Currently have 7178 booked but both 6030 and 7080 are open on Millennium for my cruise. All regular veranda. 6030 is last starboard sweet 16 'corner' deep balcony half covered/half not, looks down to water. 7080 is near forward elevator the large angled aft facing balcony above life boats. 7178 is near aft elevator a larger (not one of the aft C1) balcony over awning/royal cabin. I'm traveling by myself so all have tons of space. 6030 is a little cheaper as 2C; the other are 2A at 2B price. Not a factor. 7178 the couch faces 'forward' but not sure that matters to me or not. Only time I was seasick was racing a 36 footer in July with high wind/waves... think probably partly due to being dehydrated. Florida/Grand Cayman cruise. Trying to decide if I should switch or stay. Looking for comments. Thanks! One balcony better than others? Issues with being in 6030 for motion? Want2Cruise 701 Posted January 14, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2020 My choice would be 6030.
Wine-O Posted January 14, 2020 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2020 I would stay put with the aft location. I like being near the aft elevators. 🍷
NickfromNJ Posted January 14, 2020 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2020 We recently cruised on the Summit and stayed in 6035 (last Sweet 16 on the port side). We enjoyed the larger balcony and since it juts out we had an unobstructed view to the stern.
luv2camp04 Posted January 14, 2020 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2020 We love the Sweet 16 balconies!

twins_to_alaska Posted January 23, 2020 Author #7 Share Posted January 23, 2020 I had moved to 7080 but with the latest promotion it was $15 a day cheaper to move to a S2 suite and still keep all 4 perks. 🙂

Hi there, we have 7178 booked for an upcoming cruise… just out of curiosity, what do you mean the couch is facing forward? As in when you enter the cabin, the couch is on the right hand side? Many thanks!
