bury me at sea Posted January 14, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2020 The only time I had an excursion cancelled by Carnival we were already at sea and it was cancelled because of weather. We got OBC in the full amount paid. Rare PrincessArlena'sDad Posted January 14, 2020 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2020 If cancelled prior to departure, then it is immediately credited to the original form of payment (including gift cards). If cancelled after departure (by Carnival/tour operator), then it gets credited to your onboard account as refundable on board credit. If you cancel after departure, there are penalties, but if there is a refund available (not sure if there is or not), then it would be refundable on board credit. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If the excursion is cancelled prior to sailing, you will be sent a new gift card with the refund. If it is cancelled after sailing, it will be refunded to your S&S account.
