UK Immigration on unusual eastbound crossing

We are booked on the 14-day eastbound crossing on 31 July. This includes calls in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Iceland and two Scottish ports prior to Southampton. I am very familiar with the immigration procedure on the usual seven-night crossings on which the inspection is done en route – and has been for decades. There was a similar 14-day crossing last year on the Queen Elizabeth. If there is anyone who was on that or a similar voyage I would appreciate hearing of your experience.

Please don’t suggest I ask Cunard. As “Basil Fawlty” said about his wife Sybil: “You may as well ask the cat.”

I would expect there will be board checks on board.  Maybe they will board in Iceland.

I did a crossing on QV a few years ago leaving from Fort Lauderdale via Bermuda and Ireland and there were boarder guards on board.

This seems harsh. Sometimes they know a lot. Cats, I mean.
