We went in December on a B2B first Celebrity then Princess week after. Menu you had tonight was the best of the bunch. Enjoy your cruise following with interest. BTW don't miss out on the Rock Orchestra in the piazza when they have it

I heard there are now pump soap bottles at the bathroom sinks...is that the case?

I'm on the Regal now as well. I have a bar of soap in my stateroom so I'm not sure why Steelers0854 didn't get one. Maybe my cabin steward didn't get the memo to not put them out?

In my cabin, there is no pump bottle of soap by my sink -- just the regular one in the shower stall.

I needed to dedicate a post to last nights entertainment, Comedian Troy Thirdgill. He was without a doubt one of the best comedians we have seen. Nothing obscene, no foul language (although we don’t really mind either), but I haven’t laughed that hard in so long. I didn’t want his show to end. He engaged with the audience and let their responses flow so naturally into his set. He set the bar high for all future comedians. Bravo!

The Princess theater last night was packed to the gills. Even with about 20 minutes til show time there were hardly any seats together.

We got up and had breakfast this morning in the MDR. DW had preordered pancakes without gluten, dairy or eggs and I got an omelette. DW said the pancakes were good and she was still thankful to ha e some variety.

We headed back to the cabin to get Ready and went and sat in the Piazza and read and enjoyed the afternoon. We did the buffet for lunch and DW wanted nachos again as that’s one of her favorites and it was safe to eat.

Today was sushi day in the buffet. I have to give them credit for having more than just rolls with imitation crab. They had real sushi rolls and it was quite good.

After lunch we grabbed a couple of lemonades and headed to the balcony to enjoy the beautiful weather, shade and a gloriously relaxing afternoon at sea. I love a balcony cabin, especially when it’s in the shade!

in case anyone was curious here was the menu for lunch in the MDR today.

Tonight was formal night so after we relaxed on the balcony we got gussied up. Atleast as much as we care to these days. I know there are die hard formal people out there, but we aren’t them and I applaud the folks in the tuxes and evening gowns.

Here is the menu for tonight.

DW got gluten free bread for the first time tonight as she was told it was also vegan. She said it was delicious. She ordered the French onion soup and the beef tenderloin. She said her food was great, but she preferred the soup without the bread. She said GF bread acts like too much of a sponge.

I got the duck and pork dish, fruit salad, French onion soup and the red snapper. All of it was very good.

For dessert they made her a mixed fruit pie, which she said was just ok. I got the hazelnut chocolate dessert and passion fruit sorbet. Both were delicious.

How about something other than food pictures. No Princess Cays-? some venue pictures would be helpful? How about pictures if you go to St Thomas and St Maartin? Dining places, Bars, night club photos, all on the ship. Many people would like to see ship photos and land photos to give them idea of what to expect. Also, patter is hard to read and not very clear on the posts.

Agree with a big Thank You to Steelers0854. We board Regal in Sunday. I am savoring every one of your posts and love the Patters.  To take time out of your vacation to do this is really generous of you. I almost feel like I am on a B2B. Will definitely see the comedian and will arrive in MDR knowing my order already 😊. My husband also has dietary restrictions and you’ve eased our concerns. Wishing you continued enjoyment of your cruise!!

Glad you all are enjoying it. I always find doing these therapeutic. I’ve never had unlimited internet before so I’m used to writing in chunks in Pages and then doing posts when I get to shore (have Google Fi so have service in just about every country for cheap). So this is a bit different for me.

Princess has really stepped up the entertainment game. The shows on board have been exceptional!  Bravo tonight was one of the best shows I’ve been to and probably the best one at Sea. Singers were fantastic!

Here is the setup for the champagne waterfall.

Also find it a very nice touch that they do comfy blankets for movies under the stars in addition to the cushion seats!
