DuckDuck Posted January 18, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2020 I’m sure someone here will be able to answer my query. We recently returned from a Princess Cruise and they counted all our past cruises with P & O towards our loyalty tier. Now we have just booked with P & O and they don’t count our past Princess cruises and so we are on a much lower tier for loyalty. Is this correct? I have to say that we are not very loyal to any particular cruise line, we go with destination most of the time so I haven’t taken much notice of loyalty benefits before. Thanks for any help. CCFC Posted January 18, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2020 Your old ones should still count from before about 2-3 years ago but after that they stopped unfortunately, works both ways now.
terrierjohn Posted January 18, 2020 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2020 P&O stopped recognising Princess cruises in their loyalty scheme about 10 years ago, Princess stopped counting P&O about 2/3 yrs ago.
DuckDuck Posted January 18, 2020 Author #4 Share Posted January 18, 2020 Thanks for that, I knew they had changed things but couldn’t find the details. We did a lot better with Princess than P & O !

Whilst Princess accept P&O cruise history from prior to 17 December 2017 they ONLY do so for P&O passengers who have previously also sailed on a genuine Princess Cruises cruise prior to that date. There were quite a few rush bookings late 2017 as I recall. Princess score all my P&O cruises from 1968 to 2017. Regards John
