Any beach clubs where you can reserve a spot?

Hello,

We're looking for a beach club to spend the day at. We really need a shady spot & I was hoping to find a resort where I can reserve a spot in the shade. This beach must also have good snorkeling. I've been looking at several options, but none seem to have a guaranteed reserved spot. We're open to either PAYG or AI. Thank you!

No Sandy beach will offer good snorkeling from the shore. The sand and waves cloud the water, and the lack of rocks and reefs means there is no place for the little fish to thrive.

Unless you spring for one of the cabanas at Sanchos I do not know of any beach club that allows you to reserve a specific spot.  Paradise Beach, Money Bar and Nachi Cocom all have many options for seats in the shade; focus on the club amenities that you want and then choose a shady seat when you arrive.

Thanks for the info. There will be 6 other ships in port that day so I'm concerned about getting a chair in the shade (Nachi Cocom is full already for our day). Monkey Bar & Paradise are both on my radar, I'll continue to research both of them.

Six ships is an average day for Cozumel, so things should not be especially crowded.

Money Bar, not "Monkey" 😉

Haha, yes , that was a typo. I saw that they have Dirty Monkeys (my favorite drink) there & got all excited 😂. John, can you rent snorkeling equipment at the Money Bar?

Yes, and hire a guide if needed.

I love a dirty monkey for breakfast! 😎
