Fishing trip for a cruise excursion?

My husband and son love fishing and I thought I would surprise them with a fishing excursion in Cabo since I am looking forward to seeing the sights in PV and Mazatlan.  

 

Has anyone taken a half day out of Cabo?  I need something economical for the three of us.  Catching fish is a must, but we would either release or give the fish to the tour operator. We gave the tour operator our fish in Costa Rica and they offered to take us to their beach house/office and made us dinner with our fish on the beach.  It was amazing!  But since we are on a cruise, we would not be able to take the fish with us.  So, we wouldn't need to have them cleaned and processed.

 

Any advice is appreciated!
