Observations from our Western Caribbean cruise on Veendam – January 8-15

Thanks for review! We are looking forward to the Veendam . As Cruising Kay said we met on that ship in 2013. At that time there was a small movie theater. Is there still one? I don't see it on deck plans..

On the Veendam, the movie theater is the Wayang Theater. Check out Promenade Deck, just forward of mid-ship on the deck plans.

We will be at the farthest one away from Mallory Square, the Mole dock.  If you were there, did you notice if there were any shuttles to main part of Key West?

Trying to figure out if we will book activities on ship or off ship....

 

We docked right by Mallory Square; easy walk to anything in or near town.

You were so lucky to be docked right there!!!    According to the Key West port calendar, Veendam is scheduled to be at the dock called Outer Mole (why that name I don't know!).....

At the Wayang Theater is where we watched the BBC planet earth films.  Wonderful learning how they got those beautiful shots.  It is a behind the scenes produced for Holland.
