Hotel Recommendation in London

Hello!

 

We will be traveling to London in June 2020 for the first time. I am looking for hotel recommendations that will accommodate 2 adults and 1 child (8 years old). We will only be in London for 2 nights and want to see as much as possible in those 2 days.

 

Our son wants to do the Hop On Hop Off Bus. He wants to see Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge and the London Eye so I guess a hotel in this area that is reasonably priced.

These are not in any one area. They are well spread out across the city centre.

All of those but the Tower Bridge are in or near Westminster, so a hotel in Westminster or across the Westminster Bridge near Waterloo or Country Hall would be a good option. You may have to look harder for a room for three. 
 

There are both local hotels and international chains near Waterloo. Keep in mind that even familiar sounding chains (Hampton, Holiday Inn Express) will likely be smaller rooms than you’re used to in the US. 
 

Reasonably priced in June may still involve sticker shock. You can look further out, and you’ll get recommendations for that, but you have 2 days...
