Santorini-Best time to schedule a tour

Hello all,

We will be in Santorini on Friday, June 12. Our ship is in port from 7AM-6:00PM. If I was to schedule a 6 hour tour, what would be the earliest start time? Could I make an 8AM meet-up time? I am not sure with 6 ships in port that day how long it will take to get to the top of the cable car exit. Is a 9AM start time more realistic? Thanks!

My 2cents, so when / where is the tour pickup?

Arrival, docking, immigration, elite/ship tour disembarkation, then where / when you get your tickets can mean anywhere from 30' to 2 hours till you get off.

Agree with Chipmaster.  Tender operations really vary depending on the ship and their policies.  It can also be difficult to estimate the waiting time to get on the cable car up to Fira...which is the likely meeting place for any private tour.  Keep in mind that a ship scheduled to arrive at a specific time will likely make a stop to allow the ship tours to tender to a different location.  The ship then needs about 10-15 minutes to reposition for the regular tenders into Fira.
