First Diamond Cruise...

Congratulation!  Diamond lounge located on deck 4.

Enjoy the continental breakfast and access to the coffee machine.

Of course the happy hour...limited drink menu but unlimited drinks...still a nice perk.

The 3 drink vouchers on your seapass card...you can use it on most bars...perhaps the theater or dining room as well. (We've only used them at bars...so could be wrong.)

Free photo...per diamond member.

3 "spin to win" coins at the casino...although this may have also been removed.

Congrats again and happy sailing!

Oh wow I wasn't aware we received that! Are the 3 drinks good during any time of the day or designated hours?

Ok, xpcdoojk beat me to it. 😊

We used to drink quite a bit (nice to be young once.) And we'd go to the DL to drink...your $1/drink tip goes a long way...the server often gives us our next drink before we even finish the first...and yes, they will remember you and your drinks.

Now...we simply go to a bar...get a drink, perhaps a second one to bring to dinner...and that's it.

We rarely ever use all of our vouchers.

Note: We do ask the bartenders for bottled water during happy hour...but he/she usually won't swipe or even ask for our seapass card for bottled water...bartenders gets to know you during the week and they'll know you're Diamond.

Enjoy! 😎

This will be the case for us too, DH and I have 1 - 2 drinks/day, that's about it. I am thrilled to be able to get water bottles too though, normally I buy their dang Evian water package, it's just nice to be able to save a few $$!

Congratulations on your Diamond status. Just remember, if your turning Diamond on that cruise, you won't get your Diamond perks/status until your next cruise.

We obtained Diamond status after our last cruise on Allure, but this is the first sailing where we actually get to use the perks! 😃

Congratulations!!!  Just a couple other things I enjoy about being Diamond on a ship with an actual Diamond Lounge.

1.  I enjoy my morning cafe mocha (coffee and chocolate) as the Diamond lounge is a nice quiet place in the morning.  Ok, I may also grab a donut while I'm in there.  I use the coffee machine in the diamond lounge and add some hot coco mix to the coffee (they usually have the hot coco in the lounge or just ask and they will get some).

2.  The Diamond Lounge concierge can help with making / changing reservations to shows or dinners.

Be aware that a large ship like the Symphony may have a LOT of Diamond and higher passengers so the lounge can be quite crowded at times.  If you wanted to maximize your drinks during the 4:30 - 8:00pm happy hour you would have better luck using your 3 drink vouchers early at dinner or a bar around the ship and then going back to the Diamond Lounge later in the evening for an additional drink or two.  We have found the lounge less crowded the last hour (7-8) as more are in dinner or at a show (usually, but not always).

Also note that they are just starting to allow virgin blended frozen drinks as one of your 3 drinks at a bar (these were always excluded in the past).  Hopefully this will be consistent across the fleet soon.

Just to note ... the three drinks are off of a limited menu during those hours.  Generally you can get mixed drinks as well as they can use the specific brands of liquor listed plus available mixers.  For example, in the past I've had no problem getting a long island iced tea, martini, or rum and coke but no-go on a Grey Goose martini or a Patron margarita.

Thank you for that info! I was wondering about mixed drinks as I noticed the menu I've seen on here only listed liquor + beer, I'm not about the shots 😂

Ignore the time as the DL C&A HH are based on the TD times. Could be different for your cruise.

THIS. ALL DAY.

...or between 4:30 and 8pm 😉

C&A HH drinks are only from 4:30 to 8:00 PM or 5:00 to 8:30 PM. Even when you use your C&A HH drinks (3) loaded on your Sea Pass card. Depends on when the ship starts TD. BTW you can order C&A HH drinks in the MDR and theater. You can't go over the 3 per evening.
