Car rental return at Miami Cruise Terminal

No car rentals are at the actual cruise terminal. I believe budget has an office close by and that’s who we used when we rented a car post cruise. I can’t remember if they had a shuttle to pick us up or if we had to take a taxi there.

Several car rental companies have an office in downtown Miami with complimentary shuttles to the port of Miami. Like the poster above, we rented from Budget. There were a lot of passengers dropping off and a long line, but they had continuous shuttles (literally one would depart and the next one would be pulling up) so we didn’t have to wait long.

Hertz, Budget, and Avis have downtown Miami offices that are very close to the Port Of Miami. If you decide to rent from Alamo, National, Enterprise, Dollar, or Thrifty you would return the rental vehicle at the Miami International Airport Rental Car Center which is directly across from Miami International Airport. The short free shuttle ride to the Port Of Miami takes approximately fifteen minutes.
