London to Tilbury

Any suggestions for getting from London to ship in Tilbury?  We travel light so public transport is doable.

Train from London Fenchurch Street to Tilbury Town, then the shuttle bus (included in the rail fare, IIRC) to Tilbury Riverside which is basically the cruise terminal.

 

The viability of this route may depend on the day of the week and on whether there are any engineering works that would disrupt the normal timetable.
