Recommended Posts

Ncl Bliss 21day ny-seattle (panama canal cruise).

It's going to overnight in Seattle.

1) What is the address of the pier?

2) any casinos near the pier?

3) What casinos do you recommend near the airport.

thx!

I was going to list the ones out of town but not too far away that I drive past frequently - but while checking addresses found this blog post that seems to cover it perfectly for you.

In short, there ain't no casinos in Seattle proper (I believe card-rooms are legal and a few still exist, but strictly cards only with no slots, no shows, none of the typical trappings of modern casinos), but there are several within 30ish miles. Shuttle buses run to Snoqualmie as it doesn't have a hotel attached, otherwise you're looking at fairly hefty cab/uber bills or a rental car.

Personally I only ever go to casinos for the odd show, Snoqualmie is the only one in the Seattle area I've been to (oddly enough for a local PNW entertainer we first saw on a cruise) and it was very small-potatoes compared to what we've previously experienced in Ontario, let alone Vegas. If you just want to gamble, it's going to be your least hassle option thanks to the bus (which only costs $10 and gives you that much in credit right away, so effectively free if you do any gambling).

If you're looking for something big & fancy, the new Emerald Queen on I5 is supposed to be open this month, so will be the shiniest in the area and probably the cheapest big one to get to if you take LINK to the end of the line and then only pay for a car from there. Transit all the way would be possible but you'd have to take 2+ transfers and spend 90+mins each way.

If staying sober is part of your gaming experience a rental car would be much less hassle to EQC or the huge Tulalip resort north of town.

Tulalip Casino next to Everett is great.  Safe clean area.    Emerald Downs Racetrack has public transportation.  Train & bus.
