Awesome tour with Skinny Carson

We hired skinny Carson for the day to take us around the island, and we are so glad we did.Ā  He was very knowledgeable and personable, he described himself as having "the gift of gab" and he certainly did!Ā  We started out at eating at the Roundhouse, which was very delicious and had the best rum punch ever.Ā  Not the kind you get for free from lot's of tours, like the real good stuff.Ā  We then went over to Bathsheba and took some amazing photos.Ā  We were supposed to head over to crane after that, but he recommended going somewhere else since there was a lot of seaweed that day.Ā  He said he would still take us to go see, but we opted to listen to his advice and move on.Ā  He took us to Pirates beach and it was stunning.Ā  Easy to get in and out of the water, cheap drinks, and had a great time talking to some locals hanging out in the water.Ā  If you are looking for a driver, I highly recommend him for your day!

Care to share what you paid?

It was $40 an hour and we split it between 6 people and I think we were with him about 6 hours. His van could have held more too. Pretty reasonableĀ

Thanks for sharing. Can you answer a few questions?Ā  How much did Skinny Carson charge for your day? Is that the Pirate's Cove that is right on Carlisle Bay near the cruise port or is it a different beach?Ā  Thanks!

What is the name of the place with the huge boulders?

Ā

It looks a lot like Bathsheba

where large coastal boulders can be seen

all along that stretch of the island's East Coast.
