Coralc--Please update us on this if there are any changes.  We board tomorrow and received e-mail that boarding is now 3 - 6 PM with departure at 7 PM.  We'd appreciate knowing if there are any time changes as we decide what time to arrive at the terminal.

What was the weather like that you encountered last night?

To Coralc or anyone else currently on the Majesty:  can you update us on your current location and your estimated arrival time in N.O.?  Thanks a bunch!

We are headed up the river, still with an estimated arrival time of 1PM. Ship should  be cleared by 3-3:30. Sorry for your late boarding, but it was nice to sleep in on the last morning.

Thanks for the update.  If you are heading home, have a safe trip.  If you are staying in N.O., enjoy!!

In answer to question above, sustained winds 30-35 mph gusts to 63 mph Thursday night, seas 10-15 feet.

We're home. Long travel day. The ship was rocking and rolling on Thursday night.

Tons of people had to reschedule flights. Our re-scheduled flights for 4:45 today set us back $849! Royal Caribbean is offering reimbursement of $200 p/p for domestic flights, $400 p/p for international flights. That takes a little bit of the sting out of it. Since it was weather, it wasn't really avoidable.

Would Air2Sea booking have covered that change fee. 🤔

We are doing Liberty in April/May. A2S is a little more, but worth it if we get delays in Galveston

John, it would be 100% covered by Air 2 Sea.  Definitely the way to go for Galveston.

Air2Sea would have covered it, but we don't use it for domestic cruises. And we didn't take insurance on this cruise. We sail out of New Orleans every year. This particular sailing wasn't that expensive, and the cruise was fine. We can cover the cost of changing flights, especially if we are partially reimbursed, it was just an unexpected expense.
