RCI will provide a CPAP extension cord and distilled water if you ask.  Either fill out the special needs form prior to sailing or ask your room steward. You may still need to ask your steward if you don’t see the water and cord in your room when you get there.

Unless they run out of cords like they did 2 cruises ago for us.

*Rum Runners

JK

here are a few:

Glow in the dark travel alarm clock for dark inside room

Leave TV on to the bow camera for inside room (tv acts like a window)

Over the door shoe organizer to keep cabin uncluttered

Breakfast in MDR to miss the buffet crowd

Never go on a cruise without my rum runners

2) Magnetic hooks. We find them very useful for a wide variety of things around the cabin. We currently use https://amzn.to/38rwwD7 with 80 pound pull strength. We started with a set of 22 pound strength and they weren't strong enough for a lot that we tried to use them for.

Out of curiosity what kind of things do you use these hooks for?

Depends on the particular cruise, but a few things: a hanging toiletry bag, swimsuits and towels, my husband's camera bag, a book bag. For cold weather cruises we hang up our jackets/umbrellas.

It's mostly useful for keeping floor space clear (in the case of the camera and book bags) and having things really convenient to just grab and go when we're leaving for an excursion (the bags again, as well as the jacket and umbrella)

We sometimes also bring some decorations, especially on longer cruises. Give the room a bit of a touch of home.

In addition to the reasons already listed, I like to hang them from the ceiling and use them to hang wet clothing to dry (I wash out my swimwear every day, roll it in a towel and stop on it to get the big moisture out, then hang it from a hanger to dry).

Many years ago we saw suggestion to use the magnetic hooks on the ceiling to run an approved extension cord across the room.  Have done this many times to avoid cord on floor when plug is not near bed and CPAP needs electricity. 😀

This is brilliant. We need to do this for my husband's CPAP so we won't trip going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Thanks for the tip!
