We just got back from Zanzibar. Prior to going, I hunted high and low for transfer and tour information. So if you are visiting Zanzibar on a cruise or independently, the taxi/tour guide we used was excellent. When cruises are in port, he is in high demand. We stayed in Stone Town which is where the cruise ships dock. I can recommend a hotel and restaurants and tours, if interested. It is a great port stop. I wished more ships stopped there.
