Seaside Bar Advice

I sometimes read how difficult it is to be served due to long lines at the bars.  Does someone have advice on the best bar to to get quick service?  Any chance of just walking up and getting a drink without much wait?

All the bars can become busy at certain times, Welcome bar has limited hours and higher priced drinks but is usually least busy because of it's location.  I don't expect if you're on the pool deck you are going to walk down to the atrium bar because it's slower down there, that's why a bar is busy it's where the people are clustered.  At busy times the bartenders are often trying to make drinks fast and don't feel they have time for entering the purchase into their system.  Try finding a server near the side of the bar who can put the transaction in more quickly.  Be nice.

No, it is all about supply and demand, and varies from bar to bar.  Just be patient without being angry, maybe find a favorite spot and tip extra.  The staff is working hard, but will remember you.

Champagne bar when open was quick.  The great Isaac was working there first Seaside then was at bar by BC on next trip.  That bar is pretty quiet as well.

Sports Bar wasn't really too busy.

Venchi limited bar drinks but not quick.  Pool bars slow due to demand.

We always had great service at the Sports Bar.  We loved the guys there -> Leo was great!!

The Seaview Bar was also a good bar with live music most evenings.

The casino bar was slammed each time a show let out of the theatre.

The pool bars?? -> Order 2 at a time because very busy!!

Atrium Bar is also almost always busy.

If you are Aurea experience, then the bar up on Top level - Deck 19 is also a great bar to go to.

Every bar will have its peak times as well as its quiet ones. On the last night of our Seaside cruise in October, we waited and waited and waited at the Sports Bar. They also ran out of wine glasses. We bought a $100 bottle of wine and the server said he would give me this glass, showing it to me - it was highball. Then he offered a cocktail glass. Nope!

My recommendation is to stand by the computer screens (POS machines).  All bartenders have to go there to swipe your card.  If you're there, you'll get served fast, as you're seen.

We realized this while I was at one end trying to order and by buddy was at the other near the terminal.  That was on day #2, so from that point on, we knew what we needed to do.

There will always be guests that are annoyed by "slow service".  I'll agree that there aren't enough staff behind the bars to service EVERY guest in a timely fashion, but the end result is that you're on vacation.  Relax....you'll eventually get your drinks....  talk....make friends at the bar, which is how I spent my time waiting.  Be friendly and not rude.

I did hear my share of rude individuals who complained at every instance.  Did they get served any quicker?  Certainly not.
