Catrin Posted April 26, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2004 Hi there everyone, Since we were just on the Triumph last year, we were curious if they have changed the Shows. For anyone on recently... what were the names of the shows? Who was the magician? Thanks! Cathy Ecstacy October 1992 Destiny October 1999 TRIUMPH May2003 Our TRIUMPHant Return! suzy671 Posted April 26, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2004 the shows are the same. We've been on the Triumph 10 times and they have been the same with the only exception of the lead singers and dancers.
tef43 Posted April 26, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2004 In January, the magic act was "Kevin & Caruso." Tom <--- Curmudgeon of the Seas Eleven cruises so far. Up next: Shhhh, it's a surprise! Dance like it hurts, love like you need money, and work when somebody's watching.
lisak1 Posted April 26, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2004 What are the shows... if you don't mind my asking? I'd like to know what I have to look forward to! Thank you!
ladyjane Posted April 26, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 26, 2004 There was the Welcome Aboard show with the cruise director, John Heald on the first night. There were 2 dance shows during the week - one I believe was "around the world" and the other was singing and dancing to songs from different years - started out in the 1920's and went to current time. There was a magic show - Kevin and Caruso. A talent show with John's bedtime story. I think I'm missing something, but I highly recommend ALL of the shows. They are all entertaining. Have fun! Catrin Posted April 26, 2004 Author #7 Share Posted April 26, 2004 Yup... the same shows as last year.... We really liked the second one.. the first, not as much. We thought the magic show was really cheezy, but fun at the same time. This year, we are going to take our 5 yr old to that show with us. Camp Carnival only takes the 6-8 yr old kids. judithdh1 Posted April 27, 2004 #9 Share Posted April 27, 2004 Are the shows different on the different ships or are they the same shows, different people, (of course) on different ships. Judi Hensley Days til Judi's 1st Cruise!
serene56 Posted April 27, 2004 #10 Share Posted April 27, 2004 All the ships have a different show. These shows stay the same for a very long time. I am talking years here. It costs too much money to change a show on a cruise ship..from the custumes to the stage decorations etc. etc. Going NOWHERE Miracle, February 13, 2005 Legend, October 22,2004 Voyager August 31,2003 Victory September 22,2002 Regal Empress,June 2001 Sensation,August 2000
