WALKING FROM VILLEFRANCHE TO VILLA ROTHSCHILD

Has anyone walked form the cruise pier to the Villa et Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild?  If so, how do I do it?

I have not been to the Villa.  I have been to Villefranche.  I was curious what you were asking about so I checked it out on Google Maps.  Google lets you specify walking as a means of transportation when you ask for directions between 2 locations.  Google calculates it as a 45 minute walk and shows the path along roads and the waterfront.  You can also use Google Street View mode to walk the street path and see how it looks.  One of the streets closer to the Villa shows no sidewalk, but it seems to be a low-traffic street and there are people shown walking along the edges of the roadway.  The tender boats will let you off in the old marina on the left side of the small bay that Villefranche sits on.  Use this as your starting location in Google Maps.
