NCL Casino question

I am going out in a few months on the Bliss and was curious about the casino there. This is a comp from the casino I play at. First time with NCL so very excited.

Any tips regarding comps or are they good about approaching you? Does anybody know about the points system for the rewards they use? I have another cruise booked already after this one.

Finally in a position to use my cruise comps. I had to pass on them all the time before.

1 point for every $5 in ($10 in when playing Video Poker).

You can use your cabin key to play with, or get a CAS players club card from the casino desk once they open (if there's not one already in your room when you board). Definitely use one or the other when playing in the casino. Slot play is tracked electronically to your account, table play is mostly tracked by the pit boss as usual in casinos (although some ships and some table games are now being converted to tracking chips).

There is an ATM in the casino, or you get money as a charge against your room account. There is a 3% fee for doing this, each time you do it. You can also setup a line of credit with CAS in advance of your cruise, or just bring your money on board. Slots are money or ticket in, ticket out.

NCL CAS comps work a little differently than other lines. After your cruise with tracked play, you can contact CAS in Miami and ask about a comp on any cruise you like. They will tell you what you'd be eligible for on that cruise. Comps vary with the ship and itinerary...the more popular the cruise, the lower the value of the comp. There is no fixed relationship of points earned to level of comp earned. Your comps are based on your ADT, just as with any land casino.

If you earn over 2500 points on your cruise, check with a casino host the last night.  They can comp items off your bill.

If you earn over 5000 points (Pearl status) cruising from April 1st to March 31st (over one or more cruises) you will earn guaranteed comps on your next cruises.

The Bliss is a beautiful ship with a fun casino.   Have a great cruise😎

Forgot to add, if you get less than 2500 points, you can turn those points into FreePlay.  You will see the option when you put your card into a machine.  2500 points would be $25 of FreePlay. You could also use higher amounts than 2500 for FreePlay if you don't want to have them comp items off your bill.

Don’t forget if you have less then 2500 points you can still use it as free play just lower then 25.00 or you can save your points for another sailing, you just have to tell the host on your next sailing your last ship and date and they will move your points to that sailing.

BTW.....How have you been? I was supposed to be on the Anthem next week...but nope....I will be on my couch avoiding people instead.

I'm with you-  It's hard to plan for that cruise and then have it fall apart.  Now all of our planning is when is the best time to get milk & bread from the local grocery.  We were supposed to be on Encore again April 5th and I'm still working on cancelling some details.  We really loved our Jan 26th Encore cruise.  Beautiful new ship and the  casino  & staff was awesome.      Hoping this will all be settled in the fall.

We had a very nice three day Las Vegas stay just before everything started closing.   Enjoyed great food and a beautiful suite.   Sports-books (no sports) were closing already.  As we were leaving town on 3/14, hardly any traffic on the strip.   It was reminiscent of when we drove there after 911.  Now that it's all closed down you have to worry for all the wonderful people that are out of work at the resorts & restaurants.  I know that the same is happening all over, but I can put names & faces with friends that we have made in LV over the years and it makes me realize how blessed my household is with steady income.

Yeah I really feel for everyone who are losing their jobs with this and thankfully I am fully stocked on everything I need for a while though I do have my downstairs neighbor picking me up milk and bread every few days since he is still working outside of the house.
I am glad you were able to get your game on prior to this, I am already planning on hitting Atlantic City for a few days whenever this calms down. I just hope people follow the recommendations and stay home so to slow/stop the spread. If they did that this would end a lot sooner then they are expecting.

Stay safe!
