What is the cost of the ferry?

Adults $5 cash, or $4.50 for a token. There are also a variety of transportation passes good on both the ferries and buses, starting at $19 per person for a one day pass, $31.50 for a two day pass. There's also a ticket book but you can't buy it at Dockyard.

NCL runs a free ferry for its passengers between Dockyard and St. George.
