Orient to Maho

Can I catch a taxi directly there from Orient Beach  to Maho or do I have to go back to the cruise ship to get a different taxi. If possible how much?

Yep. You can catch a taxi from Orient and go wherever you want. I've spent the morning at Orient and then headed over to Maho and spent the afternoon waving at pilots and passengers from at Cat. in Maho Bay. 

Give yourself about 30 minutes for the taxi ride from Orient to Maho, maybe a bit more depending on how many ships are in port and the traffic over.
