A preverbial land adventure.... surfing, snorkelling, helicopter tour, turtle swimming, outrigger canoe and eating. Scopes, YouTube videos but no Live.

To get this back on topic, John will you have scopes on this adventure?

I'm going to try. Haven't done one is several years. I think back when Freedom was in PC

I think I'm @JohnandLala

Another 12” on top of the last 2 days worth of snow. More today. UGH.  With no cruise in March this year we are living vicariously through you.

Staring out my patio window and having the exact same thoughts right now!  UGH describes it perfectly.  14 more days till we get out of the cold north but sad that there is no @A&L_Ont live blog this March.

Possibly the last of my background pictures.

This one says it all 😁

Well, actually it doesn't mention Prime in Club Royale.

That will come in handy to get me some Genie tip money.

Stole this from @MrFunInTheSun

I'll leave it with Bella's sitter

Let's talk about the Genie pre cruise experience now.

From the Web site.

All guests booked in a Star suite will receive:

Six weeks before sailing: The Royal Genie will contact the guest and ask them to complete an important survey about the guests’ preferences. Based off the information provided, the Royal Genie will begin preparations to personalize your vacation accordingly.

Approximately four weeks before:  Your Royal Genie will contact you via email in order to finalize the details of your vacation.

One week before sailing:  Your Royal Genie will email you a link to begin using Loop, a web-based messaging service–this exclusive Star messaging tool allows fast, easy and convenient communication between you and your Royal Genie. Loop will be available from point of registration until four days after your cruise.

The Royal Genie is the ultimate insider, crafting exclusive one-of-a-kind experiences, all designed around the Star suite guest. The Royal Genie does not just tend to the Star guest’s suite — they make the entire ship their suite, creating personalized VIP experiences tailored to the guest’s exact tastes.

Lucy wishing she had the life Bella.

And I was unhappy with our 2 inches on the grass this morning! Jana doesn’t like finding a spot to do her business. She would also like to live the Bella life.

Pre Cruise Genie experience cont...

So, we're six weeks out and I start looking fro my survey.  Nothin.

I then call C&A and let them know I haven't received it. Keep in mind, this is our first and maybe only STAR class experience. I'm just a wee bit excited.  I was very nice and asked them to look into it.

Another week goes by, now I'm annoyed.

So I call again, they take my info and say a resolutions mgr will take care of it.  Nothin.

But this time I have a name of the manager.😉

Call back 5 days later. Same run around. Ask to speak to the mgr that was supposed to call me 5 days ago.

We chatted, he apologized and would ask again. He has been told they have emailed me the link to the survey. I respectfully said that was unacceptable and I would email him and then he could just reply to me. I got all day.

Eventually it worked out, I got the survey link at the 30 day mark. I filled it out. (I'll attach the questionnaire in the next post)

As soon as I hit submit, I got an auto generated email from my Genie. Jay.

That was promising. I have been chatting with him several times since.  I am trying to be respectful of his current guests.

Hopefully I'm not to much of a burden pre cruise.

The STAR Class questionnaire.

Please help us begin to get to know you by answering the following questions:

1. The names of others traveling with you, both in your suite and in other suites and cabins (please remember that only guests traveling within Star suites are entitled to Star benefits and Royal Genie services):

2. The names by which you and the members of your party wish to be addressed:

3. Over half of our guests onboard are celebrating something--are you celebrating anything?  If you are, what can we do to help make this celebration memorable?

4. Are there any morning rules that we should know about?

5. What interests do you and your party have in common?

6. Are you more of a morning person or "night owl"?

7. What would constitute a "perfect" day for you?

8. What refreshment do you enjoy throughout the day? What about a “go-to” beverage when celebrating?

9. What are your culinary delights and loves—for meals, snacks and “comfort food”? What foods do you dislike? Do you prefer to dine earlier or later in the evening?

10. Is there something you have dreamed of doing for a long time?

11. Complete this sentence: “The hardest I ever laughed was when…”

12. If you could invite 3 people—famous or infamous--throughout history for a dinner party, whom would you invite?

13. If you could only bring three things with you to a deserted island, what would they be?

14. What are some of your favorite things? For example: movies, books, bands, composers, travel destinations, sport teams, designers, museums, etc.

15. Please sum up your philosophy of Life in a sentence or two.

16. How can we make your experience onboard amazing?

17. Is there anything else you would like for us to be aware of?

I'm not going to include my answers😇

Our 2021 Harmony return is 14 days, and still only has one stop. But it comes further north. 👍

We will be bringing Allure back to the US in November, and will be with you on the Harmony 10/31/2021 voyage.

I was trying to find a way to take 9330 off your hands, but couldn't do it. The timing was a little off.

We had 8330 on Oasis in 2018. It was a 35th Anniversary + Retirement Celebration cruise, plus my grandson's birthday. And we did have 8 in there...ages 50+, 50+, 45, 31, 21, 20, 6, 1 .It was cozy, but well worth it.

Here are a few pictures. The genie did all of the decorating...

The picture looking at the rock wall was obviously before they added the purple abomination... a view that no longer exists. John, enjoy your view before it disappears.....

We also will be on board Allure bringing her back to the US from Barcelona on a November 1 departure- so looking forward to some warmer weather.

Other than color, she looks a lot like my Lacey-bug.  Lacey is a Silky, Bella looks to be a Westie.  Bella is beyond adorable 🥰

Bella is from Dacula. She's called a Snow Westie. She has no top coat to speak of. Just a fluffy under coat. It's a pain in the ass to brush
