Not a great surprise, they'd be struggling for a while even before the January problems.

I had a couple of regional flights booked next month in the UK, will have to fly into a different city on Easyjet as the only alternative. Still the flights on Easyjet were as good as free...the fees for assigning seats in the extra legroom section were more than the flight itself ha!

We booked flights from Southampton to Dublin for August.  At the time of booking, I was a little nervous but there's a big American football game scheduled for the weekend that we need to be in Dublin so I went ahead with the booking. Staying in Southampton a night because we couldn't get a hotel in Dublin - that's how big a game it is.  Thought that Virgin was going to take over Flybe - any chance of that still happening?  Lost money won't make or break us but now we will have to fly out of LHR or LGW.
