Private tours in Albany, Kangaroo Isl, Port Lincoln

I’m seeking some insight into dockside tours in Albany, Port Lincoln, Kangaroo Island and Adelaide as we are cruising to these ports and are deciding whether to book ship tours or chance picking a privately run tour off the dock. Any info from people who have been to these ports, would be most appreciated. Regards Cheryl.

Following as I am interested too.  We are on a Princess cruise to these ports in October which appealed as these destinations aren't typically offered.
