Henry Morgan resort.

We enjoyed our cruise experience with excellent day at the Henry Morgan resort. Cab ride to the resort was like $15.00 USA dollars round trip. Entrance fee of $20.00 each for chairs and facility use.
Security watch out for our stuff inside of flag area.

Zumba class started immediately and great fun. Excellent staff.

Then we walked to the right face ocean and snorkeling reef right off shore excellent. Reef canyon and dropping off wall not far away from shore. Relaxing place. Excellent ocean beach.

Short walk to 2 for $5 local beer.

Other all inclusive resort offers there with drinks for more $$$$.

Cab driver was waiting for return trip to ship at assigned time.

Perfect place. Clean bathrooms and pool.

was that $15 total for the taxi, or $15pp? Was this from Coxen Hole and did you just arrange it on the day or pre-book? Thanks.

Holy Hannah,  if that was 15us round trip for a random taxi. That is an unheard of price. Now then if it was per person from Coxen Hole.. that makes more sense. 

 

If it was sorted though Henry Morgan.. maybe but still. 

 

I had a cabbie tell me it was going to cost 7 dollars to get from West Bay Mall to Foster's. Yes, a distance I could walk in a matter of 15 mins.. and that guy wanted 7 dollars. He could clearly see I was limping and in pain, yet he still wanted to fleese me.

Exactly, that’s why I was interested in the details.

 

i have become rather frustrated with transport in Roatan on recent visits. They have developed the ports and tourism so much now compared to way back it is time the taxis were regulated like elsewhere..

The water taxi guys got themselves sorted out, perhaps the land taxi guys will follow suit.

We had a taxi from Coxen Hole to Henry Morgan round trip $20 per person. 

 

Transportation was arranged in advance through Enrique Ramirez Transportation.

 

This was a van, three groups, total of 9 people in the van.

That is fairly typical for that number of people. For another $5 pp you could have had unlimited stops and driver for the day.
 

The problem with Roatan is when you only have two people in your party and only want “transport” and not a tour. Then prices are excessive, IMO.
