If you email  csteinke@princesscruises.com  Kim Baldwin will respond. She great!!

her email: kbaldwin@princesscruises.com

her phone: 1-877-888-1869

Thanks Ombud for suggesting that we contact Kim Baldwin.  She was very helpful when I contacted her to assist us with our cash refunds for our cancelled April 2020 TA cruise.  With her assistance, the funds were credited to my credit card within a week.

Look for this thread to be 'popular' again. Personally just waiting on gift card refund as I have enough FCC + 'use by' date was not extended  ..... still 5/1/2022

Lol - I was finally all squared away with Princess and didn't think I would ever need to come here again. Now my March cruise has been cancelled and they owe me just over $5k again. I'm also waiting to hear that my August cruise is a no-go since it is no longer showing as bookable on the site. Sigh. REALLY hoping they have got their ducks in a row at this point and it doesn't take 6 months again!

Here we go as well.  Took way too long for our last refund.  Just got word that our 14-day July has been cancelled so we are going to go through the refund exercise again.  We still have an August 7-day Alaska that we are hoping will be a "go" but no telling if Canada will play ball with the cruise lines.  Wishing you better luck this time around.

I live 10 minutes from Canada Place in Vancouver and seriously have my doubts about cruise ships being permitted in for 2021. The daily case counts in BC (remember we were leading the way in flattening the curve just a few months ago) are spiraling out of control and we have just entered into a second phase of province wide restrictions - including not travelling into or out of our health authority. Dr Bonnie Henry has said from day one that cruise ships are to be avoided at all costs, so I am very doubtful she would give the go ahead for them to come in anytime soon. Having said that, I remain hopeful and am keeping everything crossed that my April coastal will be good to go (though not optimistic) - if that one gets cancelled I will be on my 7th cancellation since March...

Some details-- My voyages are always through the casino department, so I only pay taxes, port fees, gratuities, and the deposit (which, as I'm sure we've all heard the speech about, you get back as onboard credit), which really screws with the kind of refunds you get (and, I suspect, relates to why I've been getting the runaround on the promised FCCs for months, even on cabins I paid extra for upgrades and whatnot). As such, I try to do B2B trips to minimize the extra travel overhead, so I was on an eastbound Panama Canal, followed by a westbound PC, and no flights involved. The mass shutdowns occurred on the second to last day (or so) of the first eastbound trip, so the westbound was cancelled, and I had to seek my own flight, at my own expense.

I submitted a Refund Request Form to customerrelations@princesscruises.com on March 13 for two people on a Florida->California flight, seating fee (mandatory), checked baggage, and a single Starbucks sandwich. I didn't hear anything useful at all from them for months, and sent a second request on June 30. There were no meaningful messages until the check showed up in my mailbox a few weeks (or whatever a few days prior to that previous post was) ago, with a few notes attached (specifically, the seating fee and checked baggage were considered excessive upgrades and not covered, and food is an uncovered expense... oh well, was worth a shot).

This is also in direct contrast to how the crew who assisted with arranging my flights (which was limited to explaining how to log into the shipboard internet cafe at my own expense) told me that the luggage would be covered. Interestingly enough, they didn't fuss at how I decided to take a shot and spring for Economy+ seats, which were about twice as much as regular economy.

Running total:

8/9 refunds, 1/9 FCC, 1/1 reimbursement, 1/1 EasyAir

Quite a few months ago I submitted a claim to see if we could get any on our non-refundable airfares refunded. Still haven’t heard anything and not even sure how to follow it up.

I don't know how it works in Australia but up here I got a voucher for a future flight instead of a refund. (Not related to a cruise / purchased directly through airline). Did you try that? I understand that somethings are different downunder

Can csteinke@princesscruises.com help? Or kbaldwin@princesscruises.com? Sometimes going directly to a person is better

Just heard the new mask suggestion by President-Elect Biden will be for masks recommended 1st 100 days of presidency. That's April 30th by my count. 😷 So looking for cruising 'ban' until then. Come on vaccine!!

That’s a great suggestion, no harm in trying. We are also trying that path of a voucher for our airfares.

I’ll try contacting the 2 emails as suggested, as we didn’t receive the full refund for the Princess tours we booked for Alaska 2020. I lodged a query but still haven’t heard anything, it was exactly $150 USD short and was nothing to do with the exchange to AUD. As my financial institution shows on our account how much in USD.

Lets see what happens.

Had a Princess tour booked for our Alaska 2021 cruise that has been cancelled due to redeployment of the Sapphire Princess, wonder how long it will take to get our money 💵🤔.

Wondering if this mass cancelation will happen any faster

Took only 13 calendar/ 9 business days to get the FCC issued. Huge difference from last March. Plus when I went to put the replacement cruise on hold, deposit and final payment date are the same when my FCC is used 😁

I noticed that just today, they completed my FCC compensation for a March 2020 cancellation, as well.  It wasn't refunded in the way the Princess rep told me it would be, but I wasn't thinking she knew what she was talking about anyway, so no harm done.  I am just happy they've gotten their act together on reimbursement of these cancellations.  This was the 6th one I've had canceled, most of which were booked prior to the pandemic and this one was, by far, the quickest.

So, I just received an email from Princess stating that my FCC (from a Princess-cancelled cruise) is available to use on a new cruise.  That nice.  However, the FCC is only for $200.  What happened to the other FCC monies that was applied to my cancelled cruise.  Did it just go poof???????????

Did you look in your profile? My previous FCC has gone back to previous # once a cruise is cancelled. Only new FCC gets the new #. Anyway that's been my experience

Just looked. Got the email this time (1st time I was notified) but it doesn't say how much it is, but I spent it yesterday anyway

I have checked every square inch of my profile and do not see anything other than the $200.  There is nothing that shows active other than the $200.  All the other FCCs still show as being applied to my cancelled cruise and do not show an active status.

So your canceled cruise still has FCC applied to it????? And here i thought they had worked the kinks out. Frustrating 😠 🤬

My cancelled cruise still shows active -- has not fallen off the Personalizer.  When I looked at my Personalizer it shows the FCCs attached to the reservation that I made but it has not been processed back to my account since the cruise is now cancelled.  Very frustrating indeed and not looking forward to the mess that we went through last time.

I've been checking our Princess account every day multiple times, including twice today,  but after seeing this recent "chatter" here, I logged in AGAIN and....lo and behold, we now have the FCC's from our cancelled May, 2021 cruise in our accounts!   Funny,  I just called Princess yesterday and the rep couldn't give me a timeline.  A coincidence?  Anyhow, the cruise still shows in our Personalizer, but hopefully will come off soon.

Glad we have this most recent FCC...hoping to use on 2022 cruise we have now on hold.

My FCC came back over a couple of days. First I got $100 pp goodwill FCC then 2 days later the FCC to my deposit

I emailed my PVP MaryR and asked her :Can any of the OBC from the canceled TA be moved to this one? That booking # was (they were from ships being redeployed) and she said:

"No sorry, that’s one of the cancelled bookings that are ‘frozen’.   We have to wait for staff in another dept to work them and release everything from those cancelled bookings.

Hopefully soon….."

so I may have 950 still coming 🤑
