Norwegian on the Brink

As a long time fan of Norwegian's quest to bring a new model of business to long haul flying I am truly sad at what may be the airline's imminent demise.  It looks like COVID-19 may be the final "knock out punch" to the airline as they report having only a couple of weeks more cash.  Amazing the bad luck they have had lately after problems with the Rolls Royce engines on their 787's and the Boeing 737 Max debacle.

Will the the Norwegian government come to their rescue?  Only time will tell...

On a personal note, I am likely out one RT ticket from LAX to CDG.

I'm on the cancelled flight list 4/30 CDG to FLL. I did purchase their insurance offering for $12 dont know if that covers if they go under.

You could try a claim against your travel insurance or credit card.

It was a cheap ticket ~$430 so I don't have insurance.  Norwegian claims to be processing a refund as might flight is cancelled, but we'll see.  It's hard to get money when they don't really have any.  However, your idea is a good one and I'll ask my credit card company what the policy might be in these cases.
