lincslady Posted August 24, 2023 #49213 Share Posted August 24, 2023 Re the silly programmes on channel 5 about Princess - someone on the UK forum says that yes, they were all comped, and chosen for this series of duff programmes. So definitely don't bother watching. A waste of Princess's money, IMO.

Rare Presto2 Posted August 24, 2023 #49217 Share Posted August 24, 2023 Well after a miserable start the sun has put his hat on in North Wales. A beautiful evening at our happy place. What's the secret password ? https://healthmedia.blog.gov.uk/2023/08/08/covid-autumn-booster-vaccine-2023-everything-you-need-to-know/ Am I eligible for an autumn Covid booster? The following people are eligible for an autumn Covid booster: Residents in care homes for older adults All adults aged 65 years and over People aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group, as defined in tables 3 and 4 of the Covid-19 chapter of the UKHSA Green Book on Immunisation frontline health and social care workers. People aged 12 to 64 years who are household contacts of people with immunosuppression, as defined in the UKHSA Green Book People aged 16 to 64 years who are carers, as defined in the UKHSA Green Book, and staff working in care homes for older adults This is because the risk of severe Covid continues to be strongly associated with increasing age and underlying health conditions.
Rare Eglesbrech Posted August 24, 2023 #49222 Share Posted August 24, 2023 Feeling just a bit down today. I have lost my 3rd cousin in 3 months so another funeral to attend. I am part of quite a large family but at the (relatively) younger end of the age scale so one by one I have seen the companions of my childhood, youth, adulthood and older age go. It brings one’s own mortality into very sharp focus. Enjoy life folks, eat drink and be merry. Do what you love and tell those that you love that you do each and every day. 18
