Angel57 Posted February 4 #55010 Share Posted February 4 @kalos so great to see those photos of you both looking fabulous and too young for retirement. Glad you had a good cruise, apart from the 2 iffy days which sound intriguing, but it is also good to have you back on here, as you were missed. 8
Rare P&O SUE Posted February 4 #55011 Share Posted February 4 So pleased you’ve had a (mostly) great cruise Kalos. John and I have just had a lovely overnight break in Sussex. We stayed in a golf hotel so our room was over the course which meant it was so peaceful and we had a great sleep. The first photo was our view when we woke up this morning We had a cream tea when we got there. In the evening I really fancied a cocktail but they didn’t have any so I had to have wine! Today we went for a bracing walk in Bexhill, then stopped in Lewis on the way home for lunch. 16

Snow Hill Posted February 5 #55016 Share Posted February 5 Up early this morning, I have what I think is a sinus infection in the sinus in my cheek causing face to swell up and affecting left eye It started yesterday and I hope to get a GP appointment this morning, looking at NHS website I may need antibiotics to deal with infection, assuming that is what it is.

Rare Eddie99 Posted February 5 #55018 Share Posted February 5 Sinusitis is one of those conditions for which pharmacists are permitted to prescribe antibiotics under the new arrangements - but I don’t know if that’s come into effect yet? However, if you’re in pain and the surgery is full (it’s a Monday!) it’s worth visiting the pharmacy Good luck, it’s a horrible pain It’s early yet but the forecast looks encouraging. We’ll aim for a trip to the coast
Josy1953 Posted February 5 #55019 Share Posted February 5 Another windy day but at least it is dry. I am going to my craft group this morning after dumping the children at school. I am not sure if I am allowed to call my nephew a child anymore, he is 16 today so he will be up early opening his prezzies. I didn't have a clue what to buy so he is getting cash from us which at his age is always useful. My sister rang last night to see if I would be up for a shopping trip to Manchester next Monday as it is half term so I won't be on the school run and her school teacher daughter will be able to look after her daughter herself. My other 2 sisters are coming too so it should be a good day out provided the trains are running. Have a good day wherever you are and whatever you are doing.
Rare P&O SUE Posted February 5 #55020 Share Posted February 5 Morning all, John and I have the day off today so we’re pottering about the house as we’ve been away this weekend. Later we’ll go and visit mum. Have a good day all.

Hope you get well soon, I think you can go to pharmacy now for that. I have sinus trouble from time to time, not quite as bad as that but it is miserable.

Peanut006 Posted February 5 #55023 Share Posted February 5 Good morning all, it looks a cloudy and dull day here with a sting breeze. I am taking my mum shopping this morning then the gym this afternoon for me. From today I am trying to lose a few pounds ready for my cruise next month so bread and cakes will be a big no no for a few weeks. It was my two granddaughters naming ceremony yesterday which was lovely. The photos below are four generations of the females, my mum, me my daughter and my granddaughters and the second one my mum, me and grandsons
