P&O Cruisers - What are things like where YOU are?

Just went for a quick walk around the block, definitely should do it more as I do feel better when I get home.
It was eerie, like a quiet Sunday, hardly saw anyone but heard a few lawn mowers and a jet washer.

Shocking they had them of course! 😄 One involved fireworks and a bouncy castle!

I  saw this on the lunchtime news, theses people really are disgusting, no consideration for anyone else.

Also today's death figures 881 and they think a game of cricket is OK.

That would be 11 double decker buses  with it's seats full passing us by  ...Shocking .

Time to raise those fines for those who don't care about those victims or the rest of us trying

to do the right thing .

We can only hope but I am afraid that they are the type who think that rules don't apply to them.  My concern is that if they continue then the current lockdown will be come tighter.

Talking about pillocks. On my morning walk today there is a shortish steep hill. This pillock overtook me riding uphill on the wrong side of the road while TEXTING. He eventually wobbled to a stop and almost fell off the bike. The car climbing the hill on the right side of the road almost hit him. Makes you wonder what they use for a brain?

Shocking the parties were broken up by the Police? 😉

I don't find that too shocking. Only doing their job. 😁. I wonder if the bouncy castles are now in the police station yard.

Yet another overtime opportunity.

Michael Gove said bouncy castles are ok for one hour a day, in the privacy of your own garden and alone. I won't share my bouncy castle with anyone else. It's mine, you get your own.

I have spent the last 3 weeks watching a child's head appear above the fence then disappear...

Trampoline... That explains it.... 😊

We were the Easter Bunnies today. Spent a little while talking to youngest grandchild through the window. It's a sad time when you can't cuddle your grandchildren.

We used that instead of exercise. Didn't think it fair to go out twice. Luckily we have a garden so don't need to be stuck inside, which must be terrible.

We've had a very pleasant day. The weather's been glorious. We're also lucky enough to have a garden to sit in and have a potter around. The fruit trees are full of blossom and the spring bulbs are in flower. Sitting surrounded by all the flowers and listening to the birds it's hard to come to terms with what's happening around us. Everything seems normal until you turn on the news and reality kicks in. I only listen to the news once each evening. I used to listen a few times throughout the day but it only worried me more. I've seen the pictures on the tv of the  cretins who seem to think that they're invincible and rules don't apply to them. It's time they were dealt with more strictly as a tap on the knuckles won't work. The only isolation they'll  understand is behind bars. Well it looks like another nice day tomorrow. I think my grandson is getting the barbecue out  when he comes home  from work so I'll be putting the wine and beer in the fridge. Looks like garden party time😃.

Hopefully the policewoman shown on all the TV news won't be around to try and charge you all for being in your garden!

The only people at our garden party will be the five of us who live together in our house. Frank, myself, daughter and two grandsons. I've more sense than that wowzz.

Avril - I know you have good sense. It's the police woman who told the family off for allowing children into the front garden that needs some sense (and it seems she got it as well, from her Chief Constable)

In these difficult times we need to make sure that the police carry out the law, rather than their interpretation of the law. When the police decide to look in your trolley to decide if you have bought essential items, despite the government saying you can buy anything you want, you have to start to worry.  This is not Germany in1938.

On that happy note, I hope you had a great barbecue - enjoy the rest of the weekend with your family.

The problem is that the people who break the rules and probably get a mild dose of the virus will possibly be the first ones allowed to get out and about more normally. Several different “scientists” have proposed that if people are tested as having had the virus they could get a sort of passport or wrist band which allows them back to work, socialising etc.

That’s fine for front line workers who have been exposed because they were  keeping everything going for the rest of us but seems an unfair bonus for rule breakers.

The people who have followed the social distancing rules to the letter and so not been exposed will get left at home for much longer if the proposals get any traction.

Our lockdown has just been extended to 3rd May.Getting hotter here now, still hoping the hot weather helps the slowdown. It hasn't been entirely disproved yet and I did read an article about it on the BBC website giving a bit of hope.Keep well,Brian.
