PASSENGERS MUTINY ON THE COSTA PACIFICA?

Has anyone read this report in the UK Daily Mail?

Was that really true? If there are passenger reading this, and  who were on board the Costa Pacific on this cruise, perhaps you could give us your take on this and provide us with more information?

The cruise ship had plenty of warning to turn around just like the Luminosa.  Pacifica could have made it back to South America instead of pushing forward into the epicenter of the pandemic.  There will be courts of inquiry over this I suspect.

Hey samian, how are you? We have fond memories of the Deliziosa and I enjoyed reading your account of the voyage (even if it differed somewhat from the experience of us inside-cabin, non-drinking passengers!)

We have friends on both the Luminosa and Pacifica, but haven't heard from them in a couple of days. They were in Marseille at the time. Lorraine

Why could they not simply sail to England and disembark the passengers there? We're not talking halfway around the world.

France seems to have not even been willing to disembark their own nationals so why should anyone else? Every country’s health systems are under enormous strain treating their own citizens, they will not want to admit possible future patients if they can avoid doing so. Cruising must surely stop completely for the foreseeable future.
