ABTA's advice to customers:-

The point I am interested in is clause 3:- 

 

"......... they may offer you a refund credit voucher instead of a cash refund. ABTA is in urgent talks with the Government to ensure that these credit arrangements have the full cover of financial protection. You should await further guidance on this."

 

We would be happy to accept a credit if we had financial protection, but as it stands we have asked for refunds on our already cancelled cruises.  Looks like a wait and see what the government does.
