good on you but I wouldn't leave it too long, you may have the police checking up on the smell emanating from the property.

Re-read post #1. They wouldn't dare come near me.

Just wondering if viruses have a sense of smell?

I can wear my airline pjs all day.

I get to spend my Easter holidays with adult daughters, usually working or studying.  They would have been travelling in Europe April/May.

I get to appreciate what a good caring neighbourhood I live in (home food deliveries)

I have been able to pick my NY and Florida friends up, when they are frequently down. (Remembering the good times, suggesting things to do at home in a small unit, and yes, cooking chicken soup, food for the soul)

Valuing long friendships.

And, as my grandmother used to say, being grateful for small mercies.

A positive for me is that my next credit card bill will be the lowest I have had for a long time.   Not going out to the shops/restaurants/socialising etc. saves a lot of money.

I agree a lot of people are going to be surprised at how much they save by not going supermarket shopping.

I planned ahead and cooked a lot of meals that provided extra serves as well as dinner that night. Now I'm reaping the benefits with less cooking to do some nights. Not quite as good as no cooking at all while I'm on a cruise but still OK.

As I now live alone, and with no one to keep me in check,  I feel like being a bit of a rebel .

I've decided that instead of taking the recommended 4 minutes to shower I'll now take 20 minutes    -   every five days.😝

They told me I should shower as long as my favourite song, fine by me, Evie runs just over 11 minutes.

Better than OK to have some home cooking available  Some days you just don't feel like cooking, yesterday was one of those days.  We  spent a lot of time in the garden, filling two big wheelie bins.  For lunch, we had sausages on the BBQ, then hamburgers also cooked on BBQ for tea

DH also does some of the cooking but his repertoire is fairly limited. He's good at doing veges to go with a precooked meat dish though. 🙂

Parts 1, 2 & 3? I have the album - Hard Road. It doesn't show the playing times on the album. Geez, that was 1974!

Now, I know that when people refer to their spouse on web sites they often call them OH, meaning "better half".

But when someone refers to their male partner as DH, it conjures my imagination ....

With the fine weather, I have been using the BBQ to cook. Grilled salmon one night followed by Tandoori chicken the following night. Stay healthy and safe.🌈

How do you make Tandoori chicken?  Is it just a spice or more complicated?  I love grilled salmon, almost raw.

I buy the tandoori paste from Coles in the Asian aisle. You mix the paste with plain or Greek yoghurt. Marinate overnight then grill on the BBQ. Serve with rice and sometimes a grilled cob of corn.

Heard this song (all 3 parts) on the radio yesterday.  One of the best ever!

Triggered a discussion on long songs.  There are a couple that would require a toilet break if you were in the shower.

I wouldnt call a bright side but at its very least it made people be more careful. People starting to take better care of themselves, watch for themselves, wash their hands more frequently and etc. The funny thing about it is that before Europeans used to laugh on how asians keep wearing masks all the time.. and now its us dying of this negligence. Incredible..
